A Biobased Materials Company Advancing Phase Change Solutions
Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, PureTemp develops renewable phase change materials through rigorous science, delivering precise and dependable temperature control across a wide range of applications.
About PureTemp
Built on Science, Driven by Performance
Founded in 2007 with USDA-backed research, PureTemp developed the world’s first 100% renewable phase change material. Today, our biobased PCMs support over 200 transition temperatures between -40°C and 151°C — delivering reliable thermal control across outdoor gear, healthcare, industrial systems, and beyond. Every formulation is derived from renewable sources, is nontoxic and biodegradable, and is validated through rigorous performance testing to ensure consistent results where temperature stability matters most. This is a result of our company values:
Scientific Integrity
We develop and validate our materials through rigorous research, testing, and quality standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and long-term reliability.
Sustainability
Our phase change materials are derived from renewable, biobased sources and are designed to be nontoxic, biodegradable, and environmentally responsible.
Reliable Performance
PureTemp materials are engineered to perform predictably across real-world conditions, supporting applications where temperature stability is critical.
White-Glove Service
As a small, highly specialized team, we work directly with every customer—responding quickly, providing hands-on support, and ensuring each solution meets exact needs.
